چکیده

The concept of an image being created by superposition of object layers has been used by photograph editors for many many years. Adobe Photoshop has been using this idea since 1989. In 1994, Wang and Adelson presented an article in which they gave serious credence to the idea that each frame in an image sequence can be constructed by layers of object planes. This is a much more realistic idea. The rubber sheet model for all objects is replaced instead by a series of sheets corresponding to each object in the sequence. To create the observed frame, these sheets are blended1 with each other.
